U.S. Home Flipping Continues to Decline But Profits Reach New High

ATTOM’s Q3 2020 U.S. Home Flipping Report shows that 57,155 single-family homes and condos were flipped in Q3, representing 5.1% of all home sales. That figure was down from 6.7% in Q2 2020 and 5.5% in Q3 2019. While the home-flipping rate dropped again in Q3 2020, both profits and profit margins increased, with profits reaching the highest amount since at least 2000.
